CrawlfolioSourced research on web data for AI

Advertise and sponsor

How vendors in web data for AI can sponsor this site with labeled placements and sponsored posts, and the rules that keep the verdicts independent.

This site is written for developers and teams choosing web data tools for AI: crawl and extract APIs, agent browsers, scraping APIs, proxies, and search and SERP APIs. If you sell one of those, you can sponsor it on terms that keep the research independent.

What you can sponsor #

Format What you get How it’s labeled
Labeled placement A slot beside or above a relevant comparison, never inside the ranked list “Sponsored”, visually distinct, rel="sponsored" links
Sponsored post An in-depth article on a topic that fits the site, researched, written and edited by me under my byline “Sponsored” at the top, naming you, with rel="sponsored" links
Newsletter slot A labeled slot in the newsletter, once it launches “Sponsored”

Rates are available on request. So is the current audience data, once there’s enough of it to be useful.

The rules #

These apply to every sponsor, with no exceptions:

  • No verdict buying. Paying doesn’t buy a verdict, a “best for” pick, a higher ranking, or the removal or softening of criticism. Your coverage in existing articles stays exactly as the evidence supports.
  • No dofollow links. Every paid link is marked rel="sponsored", so it passes no search ranking credit. Requests for followed links are declined.
  • No ghostwritten content. I research and write every sponsored post. You can suggest a topic and share materials, but I decide what goes in.
  • No approval rights. Before a sponsored post goes live, you can point out factual errors about your own product. I check them against sources. You can’t approve, edit or block the post.
  • On-niche only. Sponsorships must fit the topics above. Off-topic offers are declined.

Not sponsoring never counts against you. Vendors that don’t pay get the same research, the same criteria and the same chance at a top pick.

How the money is disclosed #

Readers see every paid element labeled, and the disclosure explains how. The editorial policy sets out the same rules from the reader’s side.

To report a factual error about your product in an existing article, use the corrections process in the editorial policy. It’s free, and it’s separate from sponsorship.
